A passion for precision

My name is Dominik Weglarz and I established Precision Grind to bring together my experience as a greenkeeper and my expertise in the use and maintenance of professional mowing equipment. I started my career as a greenkeeper at Ealing Golf Club in 2005, and two years later set up a workshop at the club to configure and maintain its machinery.

I know as much about grass and how it reacts to the cut as I do about the mechanics of mowing equipment. My role as workshop manager combined my experience on the green with my lifelong passion for machinery. With 2mm regime on greens - I had to configure and maintain machinery to deliver a precise, consistent cut each time, with no margin for error.

My qualifications

In addition to more than a decade of practical industry experience, I have completed Sport Turf Mechanics at Writtle College, but also City & Guilds - approved courses in pesticides (PA1, PA2, PA6), and train-the-trainer. I have also completed seminars and practical training courses with leading equipment vendors such as Toro, John Deere, Jacobsen, Kubota, Baroness, Bernhard and Shelton.
